Human Resources Updates

Summer recruitment for student positions has been verysuccessful this month.  All of the requisitions are now filled with the help of both Yale and Non-Yale Student Assistants. Let's welcome out summer assistants who may be new to the YaleLibrary as well as those who have returned.

If any department is in need of additional help, requisitions should be forwarded to Library Human Resouces.  As always, you may contact Gina Zirlis, Library Human Resources, at 432-1810 with any questions about student employment.

Upcoming Events...

"Take Me Out To The Ball Game..."

Softball!  Fun for the whole family!! Sunday, July 2 at Rice Field in New Haven at 10:00am. Bring whatever equipment you have, we'll share out the bats, gloves and balls, and your own methods of rehydration.

Where and how to get there.
From the *north* and *east*
Take Hartford Turnpike or Ridge Road to Davis Street. Off of Davis (in between Hart. Tnpk and Ridge Rd.) turn onto Park Drive, and prepare to wind your way all along the base of East Rock through road name changes (sort of along the lines of serial name changes) with Park Drive becoming Farnum Dr. then English Dr. You'll eventually come to an open area on your right with softball diamonds in view. Park along the street.

From the *south* and *west*
Take either East Rock Rd. (from Whitney) or Orange St. Both of the streets dead end into Park/Farnum/English Dr. Turn right and wind your way along the base of East Rock. You'll eventually come to an open area on your right with softball diamonds in view. Park along the street.

If it rains, we'll regroup another weekend.

Any questions? Contact Daniel Lovins (mailto:daniel.lovins@yale.edu)

The next Supervisory Discussion Group is scheduled for July 21st in room 409/SML

Mark your calendars for the Ice Cream Social
