March 2000

In Focus This Month:
Library Organizational Updates:

Changes at Mudd Library
A message from Danuta Nitecki, Associate University Librarian...

Management responsibility of circulation services at the Mudd Library has moved from the former Sterling Circulation Department (now Access Services) to the Social Science Libraries and Information Services. Staff in the former Mudd circulation unit and Social Science Libraries have already begun cross training and together will assure delivery of quality circulation services and access to materials located in both Mudd Library and SSLIS. We anticipate that through this merger improvements in reader services will be made more easily, including simplification of referrals and service coverage during staff leaves.
