Library Enjoys Price Discount for Learning Center courses.

Learning Center at Yale continues to make its presence known throughout the campus community. Its revitalized training curriculum offers instructor-led sessions in career development, management and administration, personal development and those specific to the Yale employee. Course reservation is a snap with its on-line registration system.

Many of the offerings are free of charge and some do have a modest fee attached. However, Library Human Resources has been able to negotiate discounted fees for these courses, for Library staff only, as posted below:

· 50% discount on all Learning Center courses until December 31, 2000.

· 25% discount on all Learning Center courses until December 31, 2001.

After December 31, 2001, Library staff will no longer enjoy this discount and will be subject to full seminar pricing. So take advantage of this offer now.

Please take a moment to review the courses currently offered through the Learning Center : http://edserv03.its.yale.edu/lcweb/webdev/html/home.htm.

This information will hopefully assist managers in planning for the developmental needs of their staff. Please contact Kate Reynolds if you have any further questions @ 2-1810.
