InterLibrary Loan from our electronic resources is the action by library
staff of copying a single article or insubstantial number of citations from
a resource for the purposes of sending to another library for personal use
of an authorized user of that library.
No: Means information from the product may not be used
for InterLibrary Loan.
Yes: Means information from the product may be sent
on InterLibrary Loan in original electronic form or in printed out version.
Partial:
Means that ILL is permitted under certain restrictions and the license
should be consulted for details. This often means the material must be
printed out (an electronic copy may not be sent directly) or that records
must be kept and submitted to the vendor.
Course Packs --
A Course Pack is a collection or compilation of materials (e.g. book chapters,
journal articles) assembled by staff members of Yale University for use by
students in a class for the purposes of instruction. A Course Pack may be
given or sold to students of a class. Any differentiation in permissions between
printed and electronic renditions will be clarified as necessary, otherwise
the designation should be considered to apply to both types of Course Packs.

Electronic Reserves --
Electronic copies of materials (e.g. book chapters, journal articles) made
and stored on a secure server for use by students in connection with specific

question should only be available to students of the course(s) in question.

Yes: Means information from the product may be used
for Electronic Reserve without seeking permission.
