Ketubah: Essaouira, Morocco, 1928, October 24

Marriage contract, manuscript, ink and paint on paper, dated the tenth of Heshvan 5689 (1928 October 24) at Atsavira. The text is enclosed in two arches with columns in art deco design. Surrounding the text is a border with leaves in fleur-de-lis design. The outer border consists of blessings for the bride and groom in calligraphy in gold Hebrew letters.

Bridegroom: Shalom ben ha-manoah Mas'ud Atsavira

Bride: Dada bat ha-manoah Nisim ben ha-manoah Mas'ud bar Sheshet.
