Instructions on Applying for Student Position
  1. Student positions are available to Yale students only.
  2. Students can work up to 19 hours per week (freshman maximum is 10) during the school year and 37.5 hours during breaks.
  3. To view and apply for positions visit: http://www.yale.edu/seo
  4. If selected for an interview, the student will be contacted by either the hiring supervisor or Library Human Resources.
  5. Student should bring appropriate I-9 identification with them to the interview.  See I-9 form for the appropriate forms of identification:
    http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/I-9.pdf
  6. The supervisor will offer the student a position and notify Library Human Resources of the new employee.
  7. Student must complete the following forms; I-9 form, student conflict of interest, and tax forms with either the hiring supervisor or Library Human Resources.
  8. Students are required to complete timesheets weekly and are paid weekly.
