Procedure for Handling an Injury for Users of the Library Who Are Not Student
Workers or Yale University Employees
If a patron is injured in the library, the first priority is to insure that proper medical care is arranged with the Yale Health Plan or other medical facility.
Immediately thereafter, the Manager of Risk Management, Beverly Costello, should be contacted at 432-1994 to report the injury and provide other information needed.
If that office is closed, be certain that we have the injured patron's name, address and phone number in order for the Office of Risk Management to be in contact at a later time.
