July 14 , 2005
SML Lecture Hall

Members present: Aubrey Novak, Cesar Zapata, Ruth Carruth, Tara Kennedy, Lolly Lee, Kevin Glick, Patrick Butler, Pamela Clifford, Michael Rush, and David McMahon.

Members Absent: Bernadette Cioffi, Maryetta Russell, and Susan Tucker.

Meeting convened at 2:00 p.m.

COMMITTEE POSITIONS OPEN:
No one volunteered to be the co-chair; Ruth will send an email describing the duties and again ask for volunteers. Mike volunteered for the position as Webmaster. No one volunteered to be the secretary, so it was decided that we will rotate in alphabetical order.

BLOOD DRIVE:
A blood drive is scheduled for July 19, 2005 in the SML Lecture Hall from 10:00-3:15. There are presently 25 appointments, but there is a dire need for more donors so please promote the blood drive. Ruth has another sign available as an email attachment if anyone would like to hang it up in there area. Ruth will send out the final volunteer list. There are two more positions that need to be filled.

FIELD DAY:
The annual Field Day is July 23, 2005 at Lighthouse Point Park. This year it is catered. We need to provide ice, tubs, kids toys, prizes, and paper goods.

Prizes : -Kevin volunteered to buy 2 $20 gift certificates from Barnes & Nobles -Cesar volunteered to buy 2 $20 gift certificates from Blockbuster -Tara volunteered to buy 2 $20 gift certificates from Cutlers.

Kids Toys : -Lolly will buy bubbles for children

Ice and tubs : -Everyone should try to bring a couple bags of ice and a tub if they can.

Paper goods : -Ruth will get all the paper goods and games for the kids.

Signs :-Pam volunteered to make and put up signs for the event.

Condiments : - Tara volunteered to buy ketchup, mustard, and relish.

Set up will begin around 10:30 AM. Tara, Pam, and Lolly volunteered to help set up. Cesar will take photos. Mike will be there to help clean up. We need some more volunteers to help clean up.

STAFF ART EXHIBIT: 7/25/05-8/5/05:
Aubrey is waiting to get the cards done. Lolly will help set up.

FUTURE MEETINGS:
Will be in Machine City from now on. The next meeting is July 28 th from 2-3. There will be no meetings in August.
