Members present: Ruth Carruth, David McMahon, Maryetta Russell, Mike Rush, Aubrey Novak, Tara Kennedy, Cesar Zapata, Lolly Lee, Andrew Gray.

Members Absent: Kevin Glick, Pamela Clifford, Susan Tucker, Patrick Butler.

Meeting convened at 2:00 PM.

COMMITTEE FAIR:
The Committee Fair will be held on June 15, 2006, from 2:30 to 4:30 pm. We still need volunteers for setup, staffing the LiSA table, and cleanup.

BLOOD DRIVE:
No update.

NOOKS AND CRANNIES TOURS:
Lolly said that the recent tour of the Peabody Museum was excellent. She will be sending them a card of thanks. The possibility of using Louis' Lunch as one of the tour destinations was raised. That tour can only be done on a Friday at 1:30 pm. The New Haven Historical Society was also discussed as a possible tour location, but there was speculation as to whether or not people would be interested in donating two or three dollars per person. Also, two new tours have been scheduled: the Preservation Department is set for June 20 and July 6, both dates at 1:00 pm.

FIELD DAY:
We may employ the use of a lifeguard who, oddly enough, grew up in the house where the pool is located. Otherwise, we may ask the swim coach for a few names of willing participants. If that proves unsuccessful we may be able to find assistance through someone at Yale Outdoors.

CALL FOR NEW MEMBERS:
C&T's have responded to the push for new members, but so far no M&P's have. We will need 3 from both categories. July 1 st is the date when old membership expires and new membership begins.

OTHER NEWS:
Since there have been many questions about the Staff Art Exhibit, we have decided to send out an e-mail about its cancellation this year. The exhibits that are already planned for are not able to be altered, so there is no time this summer for the Staff show. Aubrey will send out an e-mail and Mike will post a notice on the LiSA website about its cancellation.
The informal lecture, Artistic Impressions of Sterling by the Staff, has been postponed. Discussion was raised about tying it in with another event, such as the ice cream social over the summer.
