Meeting convened at 2:13 p.m. by Gareth Gibson.

Attending: Gareth Gibson, Barbara Heck, and Soli Johnson.

Gareth mentioned that he had heard from only two LiSA members that they would not be coming today, but many more were absent. Gareth asked that members contact him by e-mail prior to the meeting if they could not attend a meeting.

NOOKS & CRANNIES:
Gareth would like for LiSA to offer two tours per month. He is still working on setting up the Newberry Organ at Woolsey Tour and another for Preservation. Soli will investigate the possibility of arranging one for a tour of the Divinity School combined with their organ. Barbara reported that the Grove Street Cemetery tour cannot be given until it re-opens in the spring.

INTERNATIONAL PARTY:
Gareth had been contacted by the organizers of the International Party for assistance from LiSA. The International Party will be February 29, 2008 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in Sterling. The IP has a much smaller budget ($1100.00) than LiSA does for the Holiday Party. Gareth will meet with them on January 27, 2008 to see if they can arrange for a full bar and band along with the usual food items. Gareth will have a better idea after that meeting about what volunteers he will need.

WEBSITE:
Gareth thinks that the LiSA website needs an overhaul to update the features to include a photo gallery of LiSA events and more non-textual materials. He would like to discuss this at the next meeting.

MEETING TIME AND PLACE:
The next meeting will be Thursday, January 31, 2008 at the Yale Law School. Gareth will contact members about the room location, but it will probably be the Servery.
