Earthquake - Tsunami Relief Efforts (2005)
The Library Staff Association (LiSA) is undertaking a Library-wide drive to help the victims of the recent earthquake-tsunami in Asia. We simply ask that you make out a check or money order made payable to either AMERICARES or the INTERNATIONAL RESCUE COMMITTEE, and then turning over the check or money order to a Library Staff Association collection point (see list below). LiSA will then forward the donations to the respective agencies.
- There is no minimum donation amount.
- For tax reasons, donations must be made payable to one of the two agencies (so please make out the checks to the organization you choose), not Yale University.
- Yale University cannot match donations.
- All donations are tax deductible for the individual. (For that reason cash cannot be accepted.)
Please help those whose homes, towns and countries have been devastated.
