Celebrating 3 Millionth & Rich Vollaro Departure

LSF Staff enjoy lunch together in celebration of the
Shelving of the 3 Millionth item in March, 2008.

Mike distributed pullovers with the LSF insignia to
staff in commemoration of the milestone.

As the expansion project team staff took a break for
today's celebration, electricians worked in the
background to pull ceiling wires.

Reese Dill (arms crossed) was pleased to see the
results of the detailed planning he has offered over the
past decade to install shelving and design spaces for
efficient workflows.

The day also marked the Library's farewell to
Rich Vollaro, the University's Project Manager
who oversaw the building and two expansions
of the LSF. Here Danuta Nitecki gives Rich a
Library bag of tokens from several projects
where he oversaw construction and renovation
in the Library.
