Yale University Library Rescue Repository: Pricing Information

We have two levels of service for the Rescue Repository, billed per TB.

IMPORTANT: Rescue Repository usage fees are one-time charges for space used.

We analyze usage two times a year and bill in 1/2 TB increments. There are no annual service fees.

Usage fees are used to fund disk expansion as the Rescue Repository usage increases.

Levels of Service:

1) The standard service is available at $7550/TB. The standard Rescue Repository service includes primary disk space, tape backup and resource replication (copy) to redundant disk that is in a second physical location. Also included in this service are the validation, audit trail and authentication functions performed by the Rescue Repository ingest, retrieval and deletion application.

2) We also offer a disk-only replication service, with no tape backup. Charges for this service are $5000/TB. Addtional RR services (suchs as applications and reports) available upon consultation with ILTS. Contact
