All MARC records require some form of pre-processing before they are ready for loading into Orbis.

When a record set is requested for loading, Production Systems and Catalog Management submit the records to a record evaluation period before loading them to production Orbis. The evaluation will include a discussion what pre-processing steps need to be taken to facilitate the record load.
