Outlook / YaleConnect
Yale Connect is ITS’ new email service that runs on the Microsoft Exchange email infrastructure. See "What is Yale Connect" for details.
Library staff will be converted to Exchange before June 1, 2008. WWDCS staff are coordinating the conversion process for departments by working with the departmental expert users. As of May 8 over 340 staff have been converted to Yale Connect!Note: You are encouraged to experiment with the calendaring features in Outlook. However, all meetings should originate in Meeting Maker until we are moved off the Meeting Maker system this summer. At that time, your calendar data will be moved from your Meeting Maker account to your Exchange/Outlook account.
Training is available, please do not register for training until your unit has been scheduled for conversion to YaleConnect. ITS overview sessions are scheduled for the Peabody Museum, see: http://www.yale.edu/its/connect/training.html . See also the ILTS Blog for Other information and schedules for Drop-in Help. Please peruse the Library Outlook class schedule and register for the session of your choice.
