The mission of the Web, Desktop and Digital Services department is to provide easy, reliable, coordinated and effective access to information resources provided by the Yale University Library in support of the research and institutional needs of students, faculty and staff as well as researchers, alumni and other visitors to the Library.

New! General information for staff on the use of SharePoint in the Library

The Workstation Infrastructure and Web Services groups provide coordination of library-wide services support for the Library's web interface development and integration, workstation infrastructure and digital collection creation, access and use. These groups are located on the 5th and 6th floors of Sterling Memorial Library. The Visual Resources Collection, located in the Arts Library and co- managed with Allen Townsend, Director of the Arts Library, creates, manages and supports the use of the Library's largest digital image collection.
