The attached list is not intended to be exhaustive in describing the types of publications that should be sent to the archives, but gives an idea of the types of materials that are valuable in documenting the history and activities of specific academic disciplines or university functions.

• Course catalogs for schools and programs not published as part of the "Bulletin Series" (currently the catalogs of the School of Management, School of Medicine, and the Graduate School). The "Bulletin Series" catalogs are regularly sent to the archives
   
• Academic department brochures/pamphlets describing courses to prospective or current students
   
• Commencement programs for the residential colleges, the graduate school, and the professional schools
   
• Professional school student journals (e.g., Perspecta of the School of Architecture and the Yale Law Journal)
   
• Proceedings of symposia and conferences held at Yale or under its auspices
   
• Journals and published annual reports of institutes, associations, schools, and other related organizations
   
• Exhibition catalogs from art galleries, museums, and libraries
   
• Alumni/ae directories and newsletters to alumni/ae
   
• Development newsletters and other publications describing special development activities
   
• Faculty and staff facebooks for academic departments, schools, and residential colleges
   
• Student facebooks or yearbooks for academic departments, schools, and residential colleges
   
• Publications describing services (e.g., university dining halls annual publication) or newsletters to participants (e.g., University Health Services)
   
• Special program activities (e.g., Summer Programs)
   
• Press releases not issued through the university's Office of Public Affairs
   
• University committee reports or reviews in areas such as programmatic studies or policy
