exhibit information

This exhibit marks the 250th anniversary of Hale's birth: June 6, 1755.

Letters, photos and miscellany - a scrap of elm, a lock of hair - are mainly from the papers of George Dudley Seymour, a New Haven patent lawyer, and other materials in Manuscripts and Archives in Sterling Memorial Library and from the Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library, both at Yale University.
