The Hale homestead in Coventry, Connecticut
The Hale Homestead in Coventry stands on the site of - and incorporates some parts of - the house where Hale was born. Nathan never lived in the enlarged house. It was not finished until after his death. George Dudley Seymour purchased it and gave it to the Antiquarian & Landmarks Society in Hartford in 1948. It is open to the public in season.
