Class of 1773

The 36 who graduated, as listed in Biographical sketches of the graduates of Yale college with annals of the college history ... by Franklin Bowditch Dexter. Alphabetical listing began only shortly before this class entered. Previously they would have been listed by social rank, the son of a governor first, then sons of ministers and Yale graduates, and on down through the sons of merchants, farmers (like the Hales) and nobodys.

"A.M." is Master of Arts awarded three years after graduation if alumnus did good work, was a good citizen and kept out of trouble. Right column is year of death.
