Given the intensive media coverage of the September 11 terrorist attacks on the United States, the Yale University Library wishes to draw readers' attention to:- Several online subscription databases that provide the full text of U.S. and international news articles, radio and television broadcast transcripts, wire service reports, and political briefings and speeches

- Various web sites with relevant links about 9/11, Afghanistan, and the Middle East
- Academic Universe
- Choose Today's News to search for only the latest information; choose other categories (U.S., World, Wires, Transcripts, etc.) to narrow your search by geography or source. News and background information about the attacks is also temporarily available for free from www.lexisnexis.com.

- Electronic news in the Usenet news format, drawing primarily on Reuters and United Press International (UPI) wire services. ClariNet is also offering a temporary Web site of articles related to the terrorist attacks at www.clari.net.

- Publications geared to the world's defense, intelligence, and law enforcement communities. Scroll down the page and select specific datasets in order to search. Yale's subscription includes titles such as Intelligence Watch Report, Islamic Affairs Analyst, and Terrorism Watch Report.
