Library Management System Migration
Voyager Implementation

Yale Library's current Library Management System, Orbis , was installed in 1989. The Library Management System Migration (LMS) project is a thirty-month endeavor to replace Orbis with the next generation library catalog. In March 2001, following a rigorous evaluation process involving several vendors, Endeavor's Voyager system was selected as the new LMS (Orbis2), with a projected implementation date of June 2002.
