Bookbag: Help

Bookbag allows you to save a search result for later use, much like an online shopping cart. You must be logged in to Your Library Account in order to access the Bookbag.

Adding items

If you wish to add a single item to the Bookbag, you must first do a search in Orbis and have a record on your screen. At the bottom of the page is a Save Options box. Click on the Save to Bookbag button. You will get a pop-up message saying that "1 records have been added to the Bookbag."

If you wish to save multiple items to the Bookbag, mark the records you want and click on the Save to Bookbag button. You will get a pop-up message indicating how many records were added to the Bookbag.

Deleting items

If you wish to delete an item from the Bookbag, mark the item in the Delete column and click the Delete Selected Titles button.

If you wish to delete all items from the Bookbag, click the Empty Your Bookbag button.

Printing/Saving/E-mailing items

At the bottom of the Bookbag page is a Save Options box. Select the format you want. Clicking on the Print/Save button gives a text-format results list that you can print or save to a disk.

You may also enter your e-mail address and click the E-mail button, which sends the information to you via e-mail.

Placing Requests

You can place a request for an item from within Bookbag. Click on the link for the title you would like to request and then click on Place Requests when the record shows up.
