Obituaries in the indexes to the Times of London are entered under “Death” or “Deaths”.  Choose both of these terms from the Browse list of the Main Heading field, then add the decedent’s name in the Keyword field.

The subject obituary has been assigned since Nov.1990 and the subject personal announcements (including death) since 2000.

The format for the index entry of obituaries is lastname, firstname, [title, profession, etc.], death of.  For articles on the death of Queen Victoria, for instance, enter “victoria queen death”.
