LISTSERVS AND NEWSGROUPS: SCHOLARLY COMMUNICATION ON THE INTERNET
In this Introduction to Scholarly Communication on the Internet, you will learn about listserv discussion lists and Usenet groups, and how to find and use them for scholarly research. SUBJECT-SPECIFIC INTERNET WORKSHOPS
In these workshops, taught by the Library's subject specialist in each area, we will discuss important resources in that field and demonstrate techniques for finding relevant information on the Internet. The Subject-Specific workshops presume some prior experience using the World Wide Web. In cases when a date is not specified (T.B.A.), please contact the Librarian directly. The workshops will be held in the Library's Electronic Classroom in Cross Campus Library, unless indicated otherwise.
