Keeping track of URLs in Netscape 1.2 or older

Netscape has a feature called bookmarks which allows you to create a list of your favorite sites. From the Bookmarks menu, choose Add Bookmark. A hot link to that site has been added to the Bookmarks menu.

After you have been surfing the web, and creating a whole slew of bookmarks, you may want to arrange them into a more useful order. You can rearrange your bookmarks and create headers quite easily.

1. From the Window menu, choose Bookmarks

2. To rearrange your list of bookmarks, use your mouse to drag a bookmarked item up and down through the list of Bookmarks.

3. Choose Insert Folder from the Item Menu to create a subdirectory of Bookmarks.

4. Choose Insert Separator from the Item Menu to put a visual break in the list of bookmarks.
