Finishing
work continues, especially on the Cross Campus Library
glass walls and Pavilion

Remaining
work inside Sterling Memorial Library
includes finishing the skylight and roof of the
new staircase, as well as step treads and hand
railings. But the carved stone walls are in place.
Work
also continues to complete the Room 2 extension
offices for Access Services in the Sterling Memorial
Library basement.

In
the public area of the Sterling Memorial Library
basement, tiles are laid for the border of the reading
room.

A
worker inserts spacers as he lays stone tiles in a
pattern at the tunnel-side entrance to the reading room
in the Sterling Memorial basement.

A
large new air fan has been installed in the redesigned
mechanical space behind the Sterling Memorial Library
basement group study rooms.

At
the Cross Campus Library entry from Sterling Memorial
Library, the framing for a frieze of custom-made decorative
tiles has been installed.

A
long view of the concourse level shows the
computer counters of the Circulation desk on
the
right and the central staircase on the left.

Low
built-in shelves will line the central stairwell on the
concourse level of Cross Campus Library.
