Phase 2 Renovations

Finishing work continues, especially on the Cross Campus Library
glass walls and Pavilion

The millwork is nearly complete for one of the two counters
for workstations to offer public access to the online catalog
and self-check out.

This view of the other counter illustrates the closable
cabinets below the counter. The counter is next to the
entry to the Cross Campus Library Office, part of Access
Services.

Still an open space, this view shows where the Circulation
Desk
will be. The entry to the Cross Campus Library office
is seen at the right and the area for Reserves is in the
background.

Offices for Access Services Circulation activities will
soon be finished; shown here is a view into the Reserve
work area and office.

Imagine the Library Cafe in this space, with the service
counter on
the left. Beneath the floor protection is a
beautiful stone tile floor. Note the finished curved ceiling,
accented by wood.

A food display case for the Library Cafe is ready to be
installed
.

Other equipment for the Cafe is also on site.

Refrigeration units and other equipment of the Cafe have
been installed already.
