Phase 2 Renovations

Ceramic tiles are in place

A worker installs the frame for the glass wall separating
the Cafe from the rest of the Library. In the foreground,
the frame for the security desk is also visible in this
photo.

A contractor and architect inspect the frames for the
glass walls that define the vestibule at one end of the
Cafe.

Edging in the stone wall outside the Cafe entrance
reflects the architect's attention to detail.

The Cafe's security drop-down gates have been
installed.

The Collaborative Learning Center area is just about
finished and ready for furniture once the carpet is
installed.

The protective covering has been removed around the
pillar at the base of the stairs to the lower level.

As this photograph was taken, the door to the
elevator
serving the interior levels of the Library
just closed - evidence that the elevator installation
is taking place.
