The Start of Furniture Delivery

Long and heavy outriggers and jacks carefully balance
the crane on the Rose Walk in front of Sterling Memorial
Library in preparation for lifting some furniture into Cross
Campus Library through the light wells.

A special crane basket is used to lift furniture into the
Cross Campus Library.

In addition, a crew of Meyers Movers are ready to carry
furniture into the Cross Campus Library.

The first truckload of furniture parts arrives, bringing
bases for marble tables.

Once loaded onto the basket platform, the first
shipment of furniture parts is hoisted in the air.

Meyers Movers use plywood to protect the finished
services along the route where they will be carrying
furniture deliveries into the Library.
