Phase 2 Renovations
 

First Users of Bass Library

 

Chun-yi Sun is the first student to enter the Bass Library
when it opened for service on Friday, October 19, 2
007.

 

Professor Emeritus, Richard Seltzer who was a long time
visitor to the Cross Campus Library is delighted by his first
impressions of the Bass Library.

 

Charmaine Rohde is the first person to borrow a book
from the Bass Library, and is assisted in completing this
transaction by Access Services staff member, Travis Lee.

 

Farzana Faisal '10 is the first student to try the pastries
at the Library Cafe.

 

Eric Knibbs, a graduate student in Medieval Studies is
the first person found reading in the Library Cafe.

 

Staff admire the Cafe: Joan Swanekamp, Catalog &
Metadata Services, Alan Solomon, Research Services &
Collections, Janus Kulakowski, Catalog & Metadata
Services, and Chris Killheffer, Access Services.
