Phase 2 Renovations

Folding Walls and Lamps

An interesting support system is installed to create
the folding walls in the Bass Library's electronic
classrooms.

These are the acoustic panels that will be mounted on
the support systems to create the foldable wall.

Once completed, the wall can be left down or folded up
to hide into the ceiling.

New lamps, custom-made by Urban
Archaeology, have been installed in the
stairwell and other locations throughout
the Bass Library.

A lamp is also added in the new stairwell in the
Sterling Memorial Library.

The stairs between the Sterling Memorial
Library nave and the Wright Reading Room
in its basement is completed, cleaned and
ready to use.
