Facsimile edition of the 1871 reprint published in Paris by Bunel. Originally published daily during the spring of 1871 by the government press under the Commune of the revolutionary government, continuing the form and numbering of the original Journal officiel de la République française, issued by the Assembleé nationale from 1869-1880.
This publication was the organ of the Comité central of the Garde nationale. It took the place in Paris of the Journal officiel de la République française (see above), which during the Commune was published in Versailles.
