is the MLA organized?
The
MLA Bibliography online is based on the print version, which comprises:

an Author Index

a Subject Index
The
MLA online also includes a Glossary,
which is an alphabetical list of all of the terms entered in the
database.
You
will need to use the printed version to find critical materials
published prior to 1963, when coverage of the online version begins.
