These instructions relate to changing the main greeting text on the two reference telephones.

 

 

Greeting text on 2-1775:

 

You've reached the Reference Desk of Sterling Memorial Library at Yale University.

 

From …. …., reference service is available in Sterling on the following schedule: Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm and 7:00pm-10:00pm; Saturday 1:00pm-5:00; and Sunday 1:00pm-5:00

 

[From Tuesday, May 12 through Tuesday, September 2, reference service hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday.  There will be no reference service available on Memorial Day, the fourth of July, or Labor Day.]

 

If you're calling during these hours, you're hearing this message because all reference staff are helping others at this time and cannot answer your call.  Please call back in a few minutes.
