Interlibrary Loan Requests for Videos

From a memo issued by the SML Interlibrary Loan Office (October, 1998)

A limited number of libraries make videos available for interlibrary loan. At most libraries, video material still does not circulate on ILL. If we should be able to find a library that will loan the video you requested, please be advised that it will come for an unusually short loan period-- anywhere from three days to two weeks. Renewals are not possible, so please make sure that you use the material before it is due. Keeping a video past its due date may cause libraries to return to the more restrictive policies of the recent past and it will no longer be possible for you or anyone else to borrow videos on interlibrary loan.
