of the two best websites for the scholarly study of religion.
- Classic
Protestant Texts A resource for historians, theologians, political scientists,
and sociologists studying the religious and social upheavals of the 16th and
17th centuries, this electronic collection gives researchers access to more
than 1,500 works from the Reformation and post-Reformation eras. These works
include the theological writings of more than 300 Protestant authors, as well
as a wide range of confessional documents, biblical commentaries, polemical
treatises, and Bible translations.
- Lexikon
des Mittelalters (LexMA) and International Encyclopaedia of the Middle Ages
(IEMA) The standard encyclopaedia for medieval studies. It deals with
all branches of Medieval Studies and covers the period from 300 to 1500 AD/CE
for the whole of Europe and parts of the Middle East and North Africa. The
IEMA is an entirely new supplement to the LexMA and is being produced under
the joint auspices of the UCLA Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies
and Brepols Publishers.

Werke The complete Weimar Edition of the works of Martin Luther. In addition
to his Bible translations and his treatises, the database includes his sermons,
letters, Tischreden, poems and hymns, enabling scholars to navigate with ease
through his works, finding every occurrence of a word or phrase. Searches
may be limited to a particular work or genre, or expanded to include the entire
database
