As the subject specialist for U.S. History and American Studies, I am responsible for developing collections in these areas for Yale University Library. Along with my mentor Sue Roberts, Librarian for European History, I manage the two part library program required of all Yale history majors. I hold a Ph.D. in U.S. history from Rice University and an M.L.I.S. from the University of Pittsburgh. I am currently revising my dissertation for publication. Additionally, I am planning a trip to Southeast Asia and welcome book and movie suggestions as I try to acquaint myself with the historiography on the region.
