Kline Science Library:
Kline Science Library is located in the lowest level of Kline Biology Tower, bordered by Prospect St., Sachem St., Edwards St., and Whitney Ave. For non-KBT people, entrance to the Library after 5p.m. Monday - Friday and on weekends is through the door facing Prospect St.
Walking: From Central Campus
From the Woolsey Hall (Grove Street/ Prospect Street Intersection):
about 10 minutes
- Go North on Prospect Street toward Trumbull Street
- Continue past School of Management/ Social Science Library
- Turn Right at Sterling Chemistry Laboratory toward Kline Biology Tower
- The library is in the Concourse Level (entrance on first floor) of Kline Biology Tower.
Taking the Yale Shuttle to Kline Science Library:
- Red, Green, & Blue lines go stop at 220 Prospect
o Track the Yale Shuttle Bus at http://www.yale.transloc-inc.com/
o GPS service can be added to your cell phone
I-91 south from Hartford
(or I-95 to I-91 North at New Haven)
Exit 3 (Trumbull Ave.)
right at light (onto Orange St.)
left at Humphrey (traffic light, three blocks)
if you have a visitor parking pass:
at the end of this street you will see a big parking lot
across the street ... enter and park on the right side.
if you DO NOT have a visitor parking pass:
Street parking (for a fee) is available in the immediate area, but you will need coins. Free parking is available a few blocks in the Northeast direction (try Livingston, left off Edwards).
Once you have parked:
From the parking lot, head up the stairs between the buildings toward
the big tower (Kline Biology Tower).
Enter through the revolving glass doors and go right to the library entrance.
