The library acquires books and journals in the area of pure
mathematics, mostly at the graduate and research levels. The library
has a good collection of journals geared to the research interests of
the faculty and students of the Mathematics Department. Its collection
of proceedings of conferences and symposia is noteworthy, and it also
houses a strong collection of monographs.
There is a photocopy machine in Room 226 that operates only with
copy cards that must be purchased from the Math Department office. Copy
cards are available at a cost of $8.00 per 100 copies. Journals may be
charged out for photocopying in neighboring buildings. Books circulate
for two weeks with no renewals.
