Quiet Areas
The library intends to provide an optimal environment for research and study. It is expected that people will be respectful of others. People are asked to speak quietly, and that conversations be short. Lengthy conversations and group study should be done in areas where conversation does not disturb others. These appropriate areas differ by library because of varying architecture, locations of study spaces, service desks, and staff offices. We ask that you consult staff in order to identify group study areas. Please honor requests for quiet and move to another location if an unintended distraction occurs. Thank you for your cooperation.
