Biology Journal Indexes

The following databases will allow for author, title, and keyword searches of the biological literature:

Biosis - the major database for all life sciences; provides the widest coverage of biology material

Zoological Record - descriptive taxonomy and population studies

Biological & Agricultural Index - covering the basic (core/popular) journal literature.

TreeCD - all aspects of the ecology and management of natural and plantation forests and agroforestry systems

Also consider the following indexes for related data:

Interdisciplinary indexes and abstracts -- search science journals and newspapers
Science Citation Index -- an interdisciplinary index for both keyword searching and citation tracking
