·         ***** Eileen, Michael, Cynthia, Este, Jen, Kevin (Marsha is out-of-town; Kelly was hosting a forum at the time of the meeting)

 

  1. Mentorship Subcommittee

·         No announcements

 

  1. Grants Subcommittee

·         Received 6 SCOPA Grant applications (1 is a duplicate, so 5 applications)

·         ***** Grant applications will be distributed to readers (Sandra Peterson, Bobbi Pilette, Diane Turner, Eileen Smith, Cynthia Roman, Jennifer Krivickas)

·         Meeting to decide on winners – Nov 14th, 830am

·         ***** Announcement of winners – Dec. 15 deadline

·         ***** Rework wording on website to require six copies of the proposal to be submitted for distribution (instead of us having to make copies)

·         Jen/Este/Cythia – Still checking all links related to grants subcommittee

 

  1. Alice’s Forums

·         ***** Este has linked the PowerPoint presentation for the Librarian’s Report to the Staff to the SCOPA website

 

  1. Kevin

·         ***** Postponing previously scheduled Nov 13th Grant forum until further notice (until someone is hired – by Alice’s request)

·         Cynthia planning forum for 12/8. Speakers include: Matthew Beacom.

 

  1. 2nd week in January: Transition meeting

·         Eileen is looking into booking a room

 

  1. Feb Forum scheduled: Jessica McWade

 

  1. **** Videos from 1996 SCOPA forum on copyright handed over to Kevin for the Archives (from Eileen)

 

  1. Discussion: Recording SCOPA forums (to be continued)

 

  1. SCOPA web site updating project: continue updating Nov 15th meeting
