The revised website (thank you, Dajin!) was approved and Dajin agreed to make some sort of announcement on yulib-l.
15 minutes, or so, of each meeting will be devoted to ongoing up-dates of the site.
Report to LMC on past SCOPA activities:
Jim will do summary and Suzanne will provide financial information. They will report jointly. SCOPA will ask for $5,000 again.
Pending and possible forums:
A. Dan Chudnov's forum will be 18 March, 10:30-12:00 in the SML Lecture Hall.
B. Connecticut Center for the Book forum should be in mid-April.
C. Jim was unable to get with Paul Conway about a possible forum concerning recently published Yale librarians. He will report back next meeting.
D. Jean Hirons (CONSER) is interested in doing a forum end of Aug/early Sept. Choice of topic will be left to her.
E. Angela Kane of the UN Depository Library was suggested as a forum. Not approached yet. Jim will follow this up.
F. Elisabeth Fairman speaking on the renovations at BAC. Not approached yet.
G. Three other ideas: New AUL for Technical Services (old idea), University Archives program, and an idea Suzanne is considering that deals with foreign speakers of English.
Other business:
Suzanne said she would announce grantees.
Erika and Jennifer volunteered for grant subcommittee.
