The members discussed various forums/programs we would like to hold this year. Planning is underway for the following:

Bill Fray is maintaining the site. He has put in a link to the library committees page and requests names, titles, and email addresses from new members of SCOPA so that he can update the site with current information.
Chris Weideman will arrange a meeting with Diane Turner, and Diana Smith and Emily Hornung, to discuss programs and possible joint projects during 1998.
Our next meeting will be devoted to reviewing the grants program and schedule, including the funding request that should be made to the Director of Library Human Resources next month. Gillian Goldsmith, head of the SCOPA grants subcommittee, will lead the discussion.
Our next meeting will be Thursday, March 5, 11:30 am in room 411. We agreed to meet the first and third Thursdays of each month.
