Grants Subcommittee met this morning and recommended proposals for funding. Recommendations were forwarded to Diane Turner.

- Rowena will contact Dr. Richard Selzer to set a date for him to speak.

International Festival of Edible Books – SCOPA will
help by providing beverages for this April 1, 2005 event.

- Sue Allen, talk on 19th century book designer Sarah Wyman Whitman (2005 SCOPA member will contact to set up)
- If we are going to have a forum on German children’s literature it needs to be coordinated with the Sterling Exhibition (contact Dale Askey)
- Carla will work on the continuation of the Library Education Forums series
- How to apply for a SCOPA grant – either we have a new forum or refer people to the Powerpoint on the library’s website from a presentation by Bill Wallach 10/19/01
