Report on Nancy’s Meeting with Diane Turner:

Discussion of SCOPA grants administration held, the SCOPA Mentoring Program will be expanded (message to all staff will be sent out by Carla), and some of the Fall Forums were discussed.

She will check with speakers to set a date.

FROG - Carla

If SQIC does not sponsor them for a Spring forum, Carla will set up a Fall Forum.

Forums are filling up quickly for the Fall semester. If Fall becomes too full we will look into moving Dr. Selzer to the Spring.

Our local contact for this is Tim Young. We do not know if there is a speaking fee for her.

Should there be any reason to meet this summer, e-mail the committee to set up a meeting. Use e-mail to inform the committee of any plans set for Forums.

Next Meeting: The next SCOPA meeting is tentatively set for August 30, 2004.
