SCOPA Meeting Minutes

23 March, 2005

PRESENT: Carla Heister (chair), Kevin Glick, Rowena Griem, Michael Forstrom, Cindy Roman (recording), and Eileen Smith.

ABSENT: Abdul Hannawi and Marsha Garman

GENERAL BUSINESS:

The last SCOPA meeting scheduled on March 9 did not officially convene. Due to the snowstorm only three members appeared. There are no minutes.

Carla will supply official Yale Universtiy Library letterhead for thank you letters to SCOPA forum speakers.

Confirmation was given that Andrew Gray posts events on the Library Events Calendar. He does not normally respond to requests but merely posts them. One should double check to confirm this has happened.

The calendar and grants have not been updated on the SCOPA website. Nothing has been posted since January. Forum announcements should be sent to the SCOPA webmaster Marsha Garman. Organizing members should send retrospective announcements for any forum they have been responsible for.

Meeting Maker proxy can be used to schedule meetings. Kevin Glick offered to tutor on this procedure.
