Criteria
Submissions must meet the following criteria to be added to SCOPA's
Recent Publications of Yale University Library Staff bibliography. They must be:
·
Related to the field of librarianship, archives, information technology,
or other academic disciplines and part of a scholarly publication.
·
Written, translated, or edited by Yale University Library staff currently employed
by Yale University Library. Citations for works by former staff will be removed
from the list.
· Formally published in a print or online publication.
Conference papers are not eligible unless they appear in published format with formal citation information, such as proceedings (either print or online) or a conference website that has posted all papers. PowerPoint presentations are not eligible.
·
Published within the past five years. Citations for works older
than five years will be culled from the bibliography once a year.
Submission
·
Yale University Library staff are responsible for submitting their
own citations for inclusion in Recent Publications of Yale University Library Staff.
SCOPA assumes no responsibility for checking the accuracy of citations.
·
A citation for a single work by two or more Yale Library staff members
will be entered under the name of each staff member who submits it.
Citations will not be created automatically under the name of each author.
·
Yale Library staff members are responsible for forwarding updated
links for electronic versions of their publications to SCOPA.
Publications may not, however, consist solely of a link; formal citation information must be included (see "Citation format," below).
· Yale Library staff are responsible for securing publisher permission when providing links to publications that have appeared in proprietary formats. Such links may point directly to the publication source or to screen captures or html, Word, or pdf documents on a staff member's Yale web page. If, however, SCOPA is contacted by a publisher and informed that proper permission was not secured, these links will be deleted.
·
Send your correctly formatted citations in the body of an e-mail message to the SCOPA
Recent Publications of Yale University Library Staff liaison. The current liaison is:
Tom Bolze (thomas.bolze@yale.edu)
Citation format
Please
