Collection of Gulag press publications from the Scientific Library of the State Archive of the Russian Federation, Moscow, covering the period 1920-1937. Contains prison journals from the 1920s; bulletins, newspapers, literary and cultural journals from the 1930s; collections of short stories, poetry, music, and posters; and various propaganda texts and fragments.

Yale owns all 649 microfiche of the collection. Scholars can consult these sources in the Microtext Reading Room, which is in the basement of Sterling Memorial Library. A published guide to the collection is in the Slavic Reading Room, SML 406, under the call number Z2513 +G85 2000(LC).
